Maps of the Sun
( sung by everybody )
7 years I'm chasing planes
jet flame scorched my outstretched hand
threw it back and try again
7 days the white pavilion
found his head was cracked and weeping
a skeleton of wishful thinking
who mapped the sun?
and I breath light
watching my soul escape
and I breath light
watching my soul escape
so troubled by the same old story
the news and wires never tell how
my compass points in two directions
I'm too thirsty
the desert sky divided, asked me
how long before the paper volumes
rot inside the white pavilion
who tends the garden
who tends the garden
who tends the garden
7 years I'm chasing planes
jet flame scorched my outstretched hand
throw it back and try again
who tends the garden
7 days the white pavilion
found his head was cracked and weeping
a skeleton of wishful thinking
who mapped the sun king
and I breathe light
watching my soul escape
and I breath light
watching my soul escape
and I rewind
watching my soul escape
and I breath light
watching my soul escape
and I breathe light
and I breathe light
watching my soul escape
and I breath light
watching my soul escape
and I breath light
watching my soul escape
and I breath light
watching my soul escape
and I breath light
who mapped the sun king
and I breath light
who mapped the sun king
and I breath light
who mapped the sun king
and I breath light
who mapped the sun king

uh...I believe that most of the singles were transcribed by W____ and I...and we helped on some of the album tracks Morten couldn't figure out. W____ was far better at hearing lyrics than I was...and apparently better than Morten, too. I wish I could recall the song it was that he had down a lyric
"The Pimps of Confusion, that's me"

Even as an error it sorta sounds like a Dave song.
