so i heard  Disfigurehead/The Kingdom of Jones for my first time yesterday. All i can say is "Wow." It was damn good. I really dug "How long" and "Daydream Riot"

Also say "A mighty wind" for the first time. Enjoyed that.

Also caught unranked Memphis beat #6 Louisville. I'm sure all you Memphis folk were there at the game rooting for the home team.

well. It was in memphis and it was cold and rainy.
So, no one was there. Bamah was there though and that makes all the difference.

System and Station were really good. They were tight and their arrangements were pretty ornate. Reminded me of jeff Buckley a lot. Really great guys. We had a blast hanging out at Bamah's afterwards. Hence my tardiness.

Must work now.

Everybody's unbuttoned except for Shouse, which is, y'know...symbolic or something.

no one was there because they were all over at the basketball game. It was a regular run on the court and jump up and down thing. If it wasn't raining you guys could of set up in the parking lot and rocked the joint out to thousands of drunk college kids.

Cool, a new Walkmen record.  It seems like the Pixies are going to tour the US and Europe this year.  I wonder if that will live up to the hype?  They're opening for a couple of shit bands, though (bad rock pipi poppers, for instance)...
