How was everyone's weekend? We went to the auto show. I got to sit in a lot of the cars my company may issue me when I get a new one in June. It wasn't too bad.

Went to my Aunt Pauline's funeral saturday. She was the oldest living Lamkins and the last of Russell Sr.'s siblings.  So... the end of an era.  The upside is that now I don't ever have to return to Newport, Arkansas.

so last night was the 2nd annual zima drinking contest at sluggo's.  $1 a zima.  winner pays nothing and gets to take home a light up zima bar sign.   the rules:  you have to finish each one.  pukers are disqualified.  we only had 5 contestants.  one dropped out after 5.  one got to 11 before puking.  one got to 13 before puking (and reportedly sharting as well, but i was unable to confirm this fact, thank god) one got to 17 and had assumed the champion role, as the only other contestant (last year's winner, josh mcgibbon) was at 14 and there were only 2 zima's left in the cooler.  and then, while celebrating, BLAAAAAARRRGGHHHH! all over the place.  so josh successfully defended his title by default. congrats josh!!

for the record. i don't think i have successfully finished a single zima. ever.

Thanks e'rybody!  I'm at work feeling like crap.  Three different meds: doxycycline for the infection; tessalon perles for the cough; and some kinda "pak" to dry my shit out.  Not my poop shit, but my respiratory shit.  Watched "Closer" on Friday.  What a whiny piece of crap.  Four beautiful people fucking one another then bitching at each other about it.  Natalie Portman is exquisite looking but a really shitty actress.  Julia Roberts didn't make me want to slap her like usual but hearing her say "cock" and "cum" was a little offputting.  Jude Law was a crybaby and I was waiting for Clive Owen to punch somebody.  Up next:  Enter The Dragon (never seen it) and the Steve Coogan series "Knowing You, Knowing Me".  Oh, and season one of "A Bit of Fry and Laurie" was entertaining but not as fun as "Jeeves and Wooster"

I'm fighting the sinus crud too, Chad. So I feels for you. I actually have pretty chronic sinus problems. My doctor says I need to have my sinus cavities cauterized. I'm thinking I'll pass on that. But I hate taking antibiotics.

I am super busy at work lately and my partner is out of town, so it's hard to get on down here to crappity land lately. But I'm thinking about y'all when I'm not here. Especially the lady crapiteers!
