You know how on some sites you visit there's a tiny logo to the left of the address as it appears in the address bar? (The "G" in a box next to http://www.google.com, for instance.)

We've got one now. Whether you'll be able to see it will depend on your browser and possibly various refresh rates, blah blah blah.

But it's there. Just another in my continuing efforts to make this site fanfrickingtastic.

Shortly after September 11, 2001, a small, heavy package wrapped in brown paper arrived in the mail at the Woody Guthrie Archives in New York City. Inside was a mess of wires.

Guthrie's daughter Nora eventually figured out that the suspicious package wasn't a bomb, but rather a recording of her father on a device that predated magnetic tape.
