Way to go, Kimmy!  You are over the hump now!

I quit about 5 years ago. I used to carry an asthma inhaler everywhere I went. Now I don't even know where I left it last.

Tripp, did you quit? if so, Good Job!  If not, get with the fucking program!

I quit Summer 2004> But I told and still tell myself that if I really want a cigarette I'll have one.
That kind of eases some of the psychological pressure.  But I slowly weened myself off for a few years.

But I haven't so much as bummed a toke in a year i don't think.

I just told Kimmy to chew on a straw.

I'm at home today.  I don't feel so good. Feel kinda weak and nauseous.  Also horns seem to be sprouting from my forehead.

horns seem to be sprouting from my forehead.

that could be part of the problem.  i imagine that doesn't happen without at least a little discomfort. not to mention the social anxiety you must be feeling knowing you may look like a freak for the rest of your life.  i hope it is just a passing thing and you are back on your feet (hooves?) in no time.

GET WELL SOON TRIPPER!

i quit smoking last year asa a new year's resolution.  went a few months without a cigarette.  got to the point where i could smoke a few while drinking without the desire to smoke otherwise during the day at all.  then when k__ and i started having problems, i picked it back up full on.  now i'm a smoker again, which sucks, BUT i plan to quit again after we get some household improvement projects done in the next couple months.  i can't really imagine not smoking during that kind of stress. we'll see.

May I recommend my pal Phineas's condensed version of the State of the Union.

Some highlights:
Quote
6. Thanks to No Child Left Behind, not a single child has been left behind. Stragglers have been shot.
14. A free Iraq will deny al Qaeda a safe haven. A free Iraq will show millions across the Middle East that a future of liberty is possible. A free Iraq will be a friend of America, a partner in fighting terror and a source of stability in a dangerous part of the world. Unicorns live forever and shit twizzlers and maraschino cherries.

You did more than that!! I was on the phone with Chaddy telling him my chest felt really tight........Chad said "Maybe you should have one cigarette."  Then we got off the phone. Tripp called back a few minutes later and was very sweet and then told me to chew on a straw b/c it helps. The End.

Anyway, I really appreciated it........so there.
