Old creaky Throwing Muses: "Stand Up". Not the same version that later appeared on their s/t debut. This was on their first self-released EP "Blowing Fuses" when it was still Kristin Hersh, Tanya Donnelly and Elaine Adamendes and Dave Narcizo...I am pretty sure they stopped calling themselves The Muses when Narcizo joined (they hired him from the band at their high school - he knew only how to play snare - which explains why a lot of early TM songs either have a rudimentary 4/4 beat or wicked drum rolls).

This will probably be of no interest to anyone except Dan...if him.

me = loser

That song is on the Fat Skier EP too, which I have... It was one of the first records I bought in Canada.

Christ...he makes Bush appear guileful.

It is not so much the ill-considered phrases but the complete dearth of charisma.
