Wow, there sure are a lot of emoticons now.
I've been considering condensing these somewhat. That isn't to say I'd get rid of any. What I could maybe do is eliminate the buttons for some of the less frequently used ones, but leave the code active, so that you could still use them by typing the BBC for them. I could maybe even add a popup that reminded us of what they were so that we could still look through them to find what we wanted.
Whaddya think?
I think that's an excelent idea, El Jeffe!

My friend and I saw this window display (for a furniture/design store) the other night. The sign, which I didn't manage to get properly into frame, reads "It doesn't have to be like this." The "body" was to scale. The red taped-off area appears to represent police tape. Interesting that that is a major drug/violent crime corner, and no one in that hood can afford one of their pricey couches.
Still, it certainly looked cool.

Whattup honkies? I have been off the internets for a few days. Our old band mate Gram was in town for a few days with his band Rogue Wave. He and I got to do some 4 track fun stuff while they had a day off. We almost got to open for them last night, as the opening band had their tour info mixed up and almost drove to Denton by mistake. So we were asked if we would play, with about an hour and a half notice. We were scrambling around, making sure we could all get our shit together and me and Mari could get a babysitter. At the last minute, I told Gram we just couldn't pull it off. Then the other band showed up just in time to get on stage and play. Which was for the best, anyways. They had driven all the way from Los Angeles. Plus we hadn't practices in 2 weeks and we're still just getting our shit back together. I went to the show anyways and Rogue Wave sold out the entire club (the Parish). There were over 500 people there. Those guys are getting huge. I would have shit my pants or puked from my nerves
on that stage, as rushed as the whole thing would have been. Ah, well.
oh cool. Was gram in Sad like Crazy? I like Rogue Wave. We opened up for them a few years ago.

yeah, me and Gram started the band in '98. He and I had another band for a few years before that. He got it in his heart to move out to the Bay Area around 99 or 2000 I guess. Mari and I almost moved out there as well, and we were going to continue the band there.
Gram mentioned playing Memphis with someone from the Grifters. I was like, "which one?" He couldn't remember. I don't think he ever saw Grifters live. I should have said, "did he look like Keifer?"

DON'T SKIP THIS ONE:
All of the crazy smileys we've added
are still there
. But in an effort to clean up the posting form, the bulk of the non-standard smileys have been moved to the "more" link on the posting form. Click that, and they'll all pop up for you to use.
Simple as that.

Rented Fatal Contact last night. Certainly not a great movie, but Wu Jing kicks some muthaflippin' ass. He's no Tony Jaa, but he's pretty damned exciting.

I think this guy always wanted to take a polygraph test but did not know how he might realistically be administered one.
