oh no.... !!!!

I had that happen to me, but it was just a cell phone, and so poorly handled by the retailer that it was easy to fix.

Your credit card company being cool?

Yeah, they didn't give me any shit.  They've cancelled the transactions, and they're sending me a new credit card, no charge, no fuss.  This must happen all the time.  Small wonder credit card interests are so high!

Ever heard of Luther Wright and the Wrongs?  They covered the whole of Pink Floyd's The Wall as a country concept record.  It's hilarious, and it works surprisingly well.  At the beggining of Confortably Numb, instead of "Hello, is anibody in there", you get a "Howdy".  That's the only way I can listen to The Wall, I hate the original too much.

I am not a big fan of The Wall.  Saw the movie once at the midnight movies.  Fell asleep.

Yeah, not a fan either.

It only serves to isolate us from each other, in an attempt to fortify the powers of the gray-slate oppressors.

oh yeah, we watched a screener of Juno last night.  liked it, didn't love it. Though I have a huge crush on Ellen Page.
2 problems I had with it.  1- the writing.. I don't know who "diablo cody" is but apparently she thinks she's hilarious.
I laughed aloud a few times though. I just hate when a writer imbues every character with their own wit.
2 - the direction.  this was an experiment in WWWAD.. What Would Wes Anderson Do? Seriously. The entire movie.
soundtrack, segues, settings, characters...

Still though, I liked it.  I'm pretty tired of pregnancy movies though.

Overall I'd say it was an attempt at making a Rushmore for the Napolean Dynamite crowd. And it succeeds in doing that.

One weird thing for me.. at one point Juno says she'd like to find a guy who is a graphic designer who likes to rock the bass guitar
then later she essentially finds him except he's more of a composer AND he likes comics. But then he turns out to be a douche..

Did I  go out with Diablo Cody? Whats her real name?

Did you know that if you google "gray oppressors" (with the quotation marks), you only get one result back?

I need to take a nap for about a week. If I could, I'd just stay in bed all the time like that woman from True Stories.
