Anyways, I heard there was a party up in here today. Was somebody lying to me? You people didn't come to party?

I have to draw a woman running through a swamp today.  The lady I'm doing it for has already instructed me twice to make her boobs smaller and smaller.  And they were pretty much B cups to begin with.  Anyhoo, now I gotta draw a friggin swamp.

I love The Big Lebowski, but I also think it's a rather dumb movie.  I mean, it's Chandler's The Big Sleep with a stoner playing Marlowe.  A big, lazy, nerdy joke.  I wouldn't call it a "great movie".

I thought "the Man who wasn't there" was good.   I want to see "No country...", but I'll have to wait for the DVD this time.

Am I the only one who enjoyed "O Brother Where Art thou?" I grant you, it was more an exercise in style than anything, but I sure got a kick out of it.

The lawyer one with Clooney and Zeta-jones put me to sleep. And I didn't even bother with The Ladykillers.

I like O, Brother more with repeated viewings.    The singing muses on the river scene really hits me where I live.

Oddly, John Goodman was a problem for me in that movie, whereas he was my favorite part of Barton Fink.

Oooh, my DVR has the Val Lewton retrospective from TCM last night. I know what I'm doing tonight...

And tomorrow? Tomorrow is the big immigration interview for me and my wife. Any positive mind atoms on that one are greatly appreciated.

John Goodman was a problem for me in The Big Lebowski. He just irritated the shit out of me.  I like him in most other things. But he was fucking me up with that one.
