it's all nice.  

i'm headed for washington DC in ten days for the annual music library association conference, and so i'm checking oot the live music/night life listings for the metro area and i noticed that Disney On Ice -- Jungle Adventures is going to be happening while i'm there and i can't stop laughing aboot the tagline used to sell this event:  "Three-part ice spectacle reanimates classics."  

so of course i'll be buying tickets for that.

Tonight my Dad is taking me to Texas de Brazil - I think theres one or something similar in Mempho. These guys bring around all this meet and let you eat until you're about to barf.

no but i took my wife to one...suprisingly right before an elton john concert.

there's one in the city...churasaca plataforma...brazillian steakhouse...you get these lime drinks that are like margarittas but different...then the waiters just come around and drop their meat on the table and ask you if you want some and of course you can't resist their meat so you indulge and it's good.

Grab that dirty deluxe edition next and I can rip some cd's later if you want more.
Lots of good shows coming up: stereolab, notwist, walkmen, iron and wine.......
My brother, my son and I are heading home to Miami in June and my brother is going to put together an art show and have iron and wine and some other bands play, should be fun.
I haven't been home in years, it is going to be weird.
