this is for discussion of all things relevant to the proposed "CRAPPSTOCK '08" extravaganza planned for early summer in pensacola, fl. as of now, NOTHING is concrete, except that this event needs to happen. use this thread for questions, suggestions, RSVPs, or anything at all pertaining to this festival of festivals. the current proposed date is the weekend of june 20. with friday evening being a gathering of crappiteers to party with no obligations whatsoever. the rock would begin on saturday evening at sluggo's and continue on sunday afternoon with a bbq dinner.  |

lesseee...new info.....oh yeah. no new info until i get confirmation from who is gonna be playin, agree on a date, as well as what y'all think about adding a few non-crappity (maybe future-crappity?) bands to the bill to bring in lots a local folk who may have never heard of hard tennis. that way more cash can be distributed amongst the travellin bands, and maybe even pogo! will bring his merrymen along. i need everyone's input! the whole "if you build it, they will come" theory is bullshit. i'll build it, but i need to know who's coming first.

i have played sluggos before, many moons ago. a different millenium, in fact. i have just begun playing music again with me and the wife's old band. touring is hard with a little chirren but if something good is happening, we would be down for the cause if the chance presented itself.
