On an experimental basis, I've ditched the old member and moderator classes and replaced them with what I hope will be a better system.

Basically, now, you get additional privileges the more posts you get. I haven't totally ironed out what's what yet, but the most important effect is that you automatically get moderator powers after 3000 posts. Not everyone who was a moderator before will be one instantly under this new system, but most of y'all will and that should be plenty. And the groups below can do fun stuff anyway, so you should be fine. Besides, you'll get there sooner or later. 3000 seemed to be a round number that included most of the existing moderators.

The main keys for this are to 1) make the moderator question less arbitrary; and  2) keep the system/database powers in safer hands (not that anyone has dinked anything up ever, but why take the chance?)

The new usergroups are all Elvis themed. The more posts you put up, the less crappy the Elvis movie in your usergroup name:
0-499          Charro!
500-999       Kissin' Cousins
1000-1999   Kid Galahad
2000-2999   Viva Las Vegas
3000+         Blue Hawaii

And then there's me, I'm "Follow That Dream" (No really, watch it some time... it's hilarious.)

There may be a few bugs with this, and if there are, just let me know, and I'll try and sort them out. in the long term, I think it's for the best.

I also added a really cheeseball Halloween theme you can choose under "Look and layout" in your profile. It;'s called "Dark Dirge."
