How to upload your avatar

How to upload yr avatar:

• Find whatever image you want as your avatar and save it to your computer.
• Click on the blue "Profile" button from near the top of the page.
• Then, from the "Modify Profile" heading on the left, pick "Forum Profile Information"
• Then pick the "I will upload my own picture:" option and use the browse button to find the file on your computer
• go to the bottom of the page and click "Send Profile"

Then enjoy your fabulous new avatar. While the attachments section will likely still be purged from time to time, the avatars section will never be purged.

How do we sticky topics and um, send PMs to groups? The typing in each name individual is rather frustrating, and I am likely to miss names.

No idea. But there's a help function on this site that explains a ton and if it turns out after y'all have looked diligently and read the help file that there're features you want but do not have, I'll try and find some plugins for them.

When replying to a topic, under "Additional Options" pick "Sticky topic."

Other tips:

Miss the old Crappity look? Go to your rpofile and pick ythe looks and layout section then choose the "Old School Crappity Theme." Looks just as you remember.

There's also a button that says "Sticky" at the bottom of any page of posts. That works too.

Let me take this moment to remind y'all that I am happy to help figure out anything you need help with, but am not necessarily a regular user to this forum lately and don't know much more about this software than you do. And so, asking me is not usually going to be any more useful than looking around on your own, since that's all I can do.
