thanks for all the kind words and sympatico yesterday y'all. i left work early yesterday after realizing that i wasn't gonna do a damn thing all day. today is a little better. after talking to my dad again, as well as he's taking it, it's hard for me to be depressed. i mean it was HIS house. he put a trailer on my grandmother's property a while back, where he stays on and off. especially recently cause he was turning his house into a home/office kinda thing so there's been renovating going on. all his files/records/books/other shit that lawyers use in their offices are all gone. so his practice is kinda fucked right now. so he'll stay at the trailer until he figures out what to do. the bad part is, he was in the middle of resolving some lapse of coverage in insurance, due to the insurance company sending stuff to the wrong address or something. he says that the insurance co. has previously acknowledged they were at fault, but it's not totally resolved. now that this has happened, he may have to sue. anyway i'm doing better. in other news, k__ and i have kinda been talking more the last few days, so i'm still holding out hope that things will work out in the long run. she knows how i feel, so the ball in in her court. at this point, i just want us to get along, and then move slowly from there.

"faulty wiring" or something. it's an old ass house. and yeah. the insurance company torching the house has crossed my mind. i haven't brought it up though. i'm sure it's crossed his mind also. (although i really doubt that's the case) |
