saw this...had to share.. "Slap on the Wrist" results in severed hand
AP – Los Angeles; In a case that just screams "karma", Hollywood actress Kim Kioti lost her hand after being sentenced to a "slap on the wrist". Miss Kioti, 22, star of the Teen horror Movie "Teen Scream" was convicted of DUI resulting in injury after the starlet drove her BMW through the front of a L.A. Taco Stand. In what many thought was a failure in the justice system, Kioti was sentenced to a slap on the wrist. Unfortunately, when the slap was delivered a small bone was fractured in Kioti's wrist. Kioti failed to realize the seriousness of the injury and never sought medical attention. The injury turned gangrene at which point her hand was amputated. "I guess justice was severed" said Tom Jubiell, one of the people injured by Kioti.
Kioti, publicist said Kioti has changed her partying ways and has taken up Buddhism. When told this, Jubiell responded, "Great, maybe she can tell us what the sound of one hand clapping sounds like."

my dad's house burned down last night. just found out. i was just over there (defuniak springs, fl) last week before we went to the fsu-alabama game, going through all kinds of old shit. photos, toys from when i was a kid, old family heirloom documents (civil war era and earlier) and just checking shit out. all of it gone. 150 year old pre-victorian historic home. i'm pretty bummed. WHAT'S NEXT??
