"The chief problem about death, incidentally, is the fear that there may be no afterlife -- a depressing thought, particularly for those who have bothered to shave. Also, there is the fear that there is an afterlife but no one will know where it\'s being held."

I'll just write the speeches sermons, and let you non-shy folk deliver 'em up to the righteous. Dig?

The younger of the next-door lads is currently on their side deck (I can see him from here!) spraying something de-scentifying (one imagines) into his sneaks.

Crush on young boy averted.

V. cool! Also: as I am immature, I still enjoy that there is "fart" in the museum's name.

A few years ago, developers took over some primo downtown real estate and created this really hideous "public square" which is all concrete and giant billboards...an effort to create a Times Square vibe. Didn't work, and it mostly gets used for really crappy events. But every Tuesday throughout the summer, they've been showing outdoor movies: "futuristic" stuff is this year's theme. (I think.) Might go to this next Tuesday: Metropolis, set to a trip-hop soundtrack. Could be a cool way of seeing the movie again. Maybe not.

I'm going to a friend's pre-wedding drinks fest in another part of town prior to that, so I prolly won't make the movie, but still...

matt, what have we all learned about reading pitchfork? just don't do it. no good can ever come from it.

Exceptin' all the live Animal Collective videos that they recently posted, of course: Walk Around, Fireworks, Chores, for Reverend Green, Tasty Place, Material Things, Leaf House, Loch Raven... a bunch of new and older stuff.

Oh, how I love those short-hair hippies...

Of course, I could've just searched on youtube for 'em and bypassed Pitchfork. Whoopsy.
