i know i know. that was the first thing i thought when i started reviewing all of our pictures. no idea why we didn't get any pictures from tripp's back porch/living room.  i have my (foggy)memories though, and YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY!!

Saturday night after some wine and a few beers I informed T_ _ _ that I was heading out for a bike ride. Just to set the scene, it was like 11pm, and we live pretty much in the woods so it was pitch black...and i was pretty looped.

So T_ _ _'s like "no way...you're not going" and I was like "it's something I need to do" like it was my calling or something and she was like "well don't come home all bloody"

Well I went...and made it home...not bloody. The funny thing, which I didn't recall, was when I got home I went in the house and started saying to T_ _ _, "How could you have let me go out riding ! It's pitch black and I'm drunk!"

Too funny.

they have woods in jersey?  i heard it was all strip malls and landfills.  and camaro detailing shops.  hmm.  you learn something new everyday.

I think that's what most people think...which i fine by me, state is crowed enough...and i guess if you fly in to newark to go to NYC that's what you see...landfills, refineries...building after building.

but if you head west...in less than an hour you're in the mountains...the skylands i think they call it...woods, rivers, lakes...there's still alot of assholes around...but I'm pretty sure this is true wherever you go.

But I like it. We're pretty much an hour from NYC...2 hours from the ocean...2 1/2 hours from Atlantic city hookers......and hour from skiiing...I'm not sure if we're far enough from the city that we wouldn't be fried in a nuke attack...we'd probably just die of radiation posioning...though like a 1/2 hour away is some sort of military arsenal that might be a target...anyways it makes me think of getting some weapons because we'll have to defend ourselves when the city folk start migrating west all deformed from a dirty bomb...but then again I can't even keep my kids from drinking the kids tylenol (daughter, monday, another posion control phone call  ) how would I keep them away from the guns.
