So, are we ALL part of the AT&T eh.. network..?
Cause I want to eliminate AT&T from my life. I don't want them getting ANY of my money..
your thoughts?
Unless you switch to the Comcast phone for your home or another cell carrier then you're screwed. ATT took out BellSouth and Cingular.

Well, that was about all I was asking...just volume. I would be learning on it and I like the idea of tubes, because I really liked the sound of the first amp I played on and everything since has been shit. It was an old Fender tube amp.
It wasn't exactly like this
, but it had the same grill/mesh and little light
. Sounded lovely. And it had trem built in (which I used every time I played!).
I can't stand these cheap Peavey shitboxes that my friends have bought over the years. Or maybe I should be blaming Jer and his keyboard on maxing them out. Only W____'s old bass amp has survived his keys, and for a long time that amp was believed to be deceased.

yeah, Fender has always been the right combination of cheap and yummy-sounding for me. I've got the Pro Junior, two Twins, and an old Bassman head that I run my Rhodes through.
Love the Twins for just playing, but you stick a mic in front of them and you suddenly realize how much noise they make before you play the first note. Unless you're going for a balls out rock sound, you wind up spending way too much time EQing and gate-ing the noise away.
(disclaimer, my amps are all old.. a brand new Twin probably wouldn't be so bad)

Is Condoleezza Rice dead, or did her left-of-the-other-guys-stance finally end up sidelining her? She is of the Council on Foreign Relations crew, which is moderately to the left of the EXTREMELY HAWKISH NEOCONSERVATIVE movement of the AEI and PNAC.
And, who is a member of the American Enterprise Institute?
No surprise.

I bought some new strings for my acoustic over the weekend. Actually bought a set of good strings for a change...or at least what I think are good...Elixir something with some sort of coating...I don't know...all I know is I have a pretty cheap acoustic and always buy cheap strings.
But now I'm actually starting to play o.k. and want a better sound without a new guitar....and the strings do make it sound better.
