Wow. I just saw a Mitsubishi commercial with Do You Realize? playing in the background.

You know what, Bill Hicks was wrong...I'm happy for the Lips, as long as they don't sacrifice the music, I'm glad they're getting money because both the Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi undersold despite rave reviews...and the sad fact is, people are more apt to buy music they hear in commercials than stuff that receives critical acclaim.

Integrity is for fools.

and Bill Hicks is dead.

Favourite Brit comedies: Red Dwarf, Blackader, Bottom (made by two guys that used to be in the Young Ones... Uh... Vivian and the annoying peevish asshole sociology student who couldn't get laid, don't remember is name, on Bottom he was Richard Richard, while the other one was called Eddie... Eddie Hitler) and, off course, the Young Ones.

Ah, yeah, Viv and Rick!  And, off course, Neil...

NEIL: Why is it always me that makes the tea? [places the kettle on the stove and goes to plug something in. Suddenly, the kettle explodes] Oh wow! [walks over and picks up the destroyed kettle] It's as if the kettle's killed itself rather than be used by me!

Does Monty Pithon qualify as Brit comedy?  I love Monty Pithon.

Uh... Falty towels, Farty Towers, Tarty Fowers...

Guess what!  This April 24th, I am going to see two of these gentlemen perform.  I know it's not like in the old days, but screw it, I would have kicked myself for not going.
