Thankfully, I'm too old, blind, and crazy to worry about the draft. Those of you who would be eligible, I suggest you start seeing a shrink and exaggerating every neurosis you think might keep you off the list.

(Isn't that the same suit (Vanilla's) that David Cross used in "Racist In the Year 3000"?)

As much as the 80's sucked, the 90's were no picnic either.
Blossom...
American Gladiators...
Rhythm Nation...
Well, Bill Hicks was still alive. Of course, I never heard of him until after he was maggot food.

Mark McKinney is a client.
A very very funny, yet completely annoying, client.

Mildred the pupster is so damned cute. She gets so excited when we come home that she pees all over the floor. Imagine a creature that gets so excited to see you that it loses control of its bodily functions.
"I'm so happy to see you that I just pooped my pants."

Again, should I not find it strange that I thought it was strange that Arsenio slammed Merv Griffin in that clip (something along the lines of: "This ain't Merv, I get to the bottom of things.") I posted just the day before...? I almost subtitled the link "He ain't Merv".
Another coincidence? Did cancer or my link kill the octogenarian?
Anyhoo...so, I listened to my first (I think) full New Pornographers album (Twin Cinema) and...uh...like most other indie rockers out of Canada, they ain't doing it to it enough to keep me interested.
They're solid, but I can't help but think of the bands I already heard the best parts played by years ago. (too doped to care if that sentence works or not). It's "good", but not my bag enough that I would choose to listen to it over and over again (although I did listen to it a good two dozen times...which is why I now have a fine again #@$%). I wouldn't complain if someone else had it on...I would see them live if I felt like going out or something...but not as compelling as I would have hoped.
