So, it's official. I have a date tomorrow evening. I can barely remember what dude looks like, except balding and dimples. Hm. That really makes him sound like a prize, don't it? He was plenty cute enough, from what I do recall.

Balding isn't his fault. As long as he doesn't treat you like garbage and has a good sense of humour. As long as he isn't a junkie or a meth-head. As long as he's not grossly obese. As long as you think he's sexy.

I actually don't care about balding.

The "sexy" part is to be determined, as I was mostly talking racing (and some photography) with him when I met him, and wasn't being flirty at all. (Well, maybe subconsciously.) I think the email he sent me is a pretty good example of the funny. And I like the funny, so... we'll see.

Is it too soon to start having a nervous stomach? I'm gonna try not to think about it actually...

Here's dude being a racing nerd. (He's a pit mechanic as well as a photographer, as I think I mentioned.)

Sorry about your pooch, Evan.  I had to euthanise one of my cats a few years back... It was a sad day, but he had cancer, and he was in pain.  In fact, I often regret not doing it sooner.  In the hope that he would improve, I kept putting it off, so he suffered unnecessarily.

My deepest condolences, Ev.

i am sometimes still haunted by putting Rickettes down (at the vet's) but i take heart in that I got to see her off in a relatively peaceful pleasant manner as opposed to seeing her die in  a..  less dignified way.

you were a proper master

R.I.P. Miranda.  Cry

We had to have her put down today. I'm sad as sad can be. She was a great dog, and I loved her very much.

WHAT?! aw, man.  i'm sorry to hear that. dogs are better friends than any person i've ever met. i wish i knew what to say.  i never do.

my computer at work is fucked up.  not only will it rarely even let me get online, and then ridiculously slow,  but it's connected to our printer, so i can't print,  and i can't send out e-mails. so i can't mail someone something to be printed.  it's really becoming a problem.  rrgh.    i feel so out of touch.

I scoured the boards for that image, but could not find it.

In fact, the earliest photo attachment of your's that comes up is from this past April and it wasn't Miranda. Only three pictures of your's came up, actually.

I'm sorry to hear this...makes me sad.

Well, not much sleeping happening around here. Why is it that when I really want to sleep, I can't? And then I'm drowzy the whole next day. I've got klonnies, Excedrin PM, shrimp and bourbon in me and I'm still a-fuckin-wake.

Maybe I'll try to start reading about the history of India. That should knock me out pretty quickly.

also, spencer, if youre reading this, i swear a full review is coming.  i know, i suck.  until then, here's the short version....

i am looking forward to part 2.

jsg.. trying to come up with a clever "pole position" joke to describe your boob photographer, but words fail me...
