Funny thing happened yesterday... Some old wino heard me talking to R____, figured out I wasn't originally from these here parts (I have a slight accent) and decided to pick on me.  He asked me right in the middle of the street, with an hostile tone, where I was from.  He asked him "why you want to know?" and he answered something about making sure I was a dirty immigrant or something along those lines, and then he tells me to go back where I'm from and shit like that.  I just told him to go fuck himself and I walked out.  Now I regret not having punched him... I think it's the first time, after almost 20 years, that someone was clearly hostile to me just because I'm an immigrant.  I mean, I have felt a bit of hostility a few times, usually from a few old jerks, but nothing this blatant.  

Ah, anyway, it didn't effect me much.  It's just kind of stupid.  I feel for members of visible minorities, I can imagine what they go through.

I have only done one of the things I said I was gonna do. Friday I went to see a friend play and drank some beverages. Yesterday, I was all depressed, and bailed on going out with a drinkin' posse last night.

Today, I'm supposed to be going to a matinee, but... that weeeds thing. So I think later, I'm just gonna have a couple gals over here for some pink lady wine or something (hence trying to spiff up the yard).
