This story is about my oldest cousin, Linda, and her husband, Eddie. They were on their way home and this happened. They were just two geeks who met and fell in love working on computers at the phone company. Linda was at least 15 to 20 years older than me so she was more like an aunt, but it's just not right for your aunts and uncles to outlive your cousins. I'm sorry to start the day this way. Feel free to start another topic; this has just kind of thrown me out of whack....

Hey Chad,
Really sorry for your loss.
and don't feel sorry (for us) for starting the day that way...better to talk about it. Share some stories...don't want to sound hokey, but through your memories they live on...if only in mind atoms.
Did they have any kids?

They didn't have any kids. They were total geeks, but like, old school geeks. They collected porcelain beer steins like this

My brother remembers them talking my parents into taking us to see Urban Cowboy 'cos they enjoyed it so much...isn't that movie all about john travolta trying to get laid at Gilley's?! I remember going to the theater but not much about the film...

In lighter news...the strange twisting of the karmic wheel brought this guy home with me yesterday. I can't decide if his name is Sully (Sullivan) or Seamus. He's gotta have a good irish name though...

well if the karmic wheel is rolling i'd go with Sully since you named the picture that. Very cute. along the cat good news, can't remember if I shared this info, but we learned that our cat (the one I ran over ) will be able to keep it's tail after all. It was definitely broken, but it's still getting circulation...so she'll keep her big fluffy tail...though it droops halfway down her tail. One of our neighbors saw her in the woods and thought she was a bobcat...freakin idiot called the police. She's freaking not even a year old...she's tiny.

Not so much since I lost my acoustic guitar. I left it at Greg Roberson's house, like, 4 years ago and never saw it again. I was just thinking recently though how much I wanted it back.

My acoustic is a 1970s era Washburn that I picked up for $25 at a yard sale. The guy who owned it before me carved a picture of g-zus and a dove on it.
