So, since Monday, the front part of my house (where my room is, the living room, front door) has been sealed up so they can waterblast the brick (sandblasting brick is apparently illegal now). They have used toxic chemicals (
then
waterblasted), but not in the good-high kind of way; more in the omigod, it reeks in here and I can't breathe kind of way. It's taking several treatments of this chemical water wash so far and they appear to be nowhere near finishing. Meanwhile, we're having a bit of a heatwave, so having my bedroom windows closed is killin' me. Man...
I should have another drink to forget.
