So we had our big office picnic on Saturday. It was held at this camp that I can only compare to Camp Mohawk from Meatballs...told the kids to enjoy it, because in the summer you're going to Camp North Star. They had bumper boats, gocarts, a wilderness adventure part with zip lines and rock climbling walls, heated pools, pony rides.
Kids had a great time. Free beer so I had a good time.
Best moment was my 7-year old winning the watermelon eating contest...kid went to town...couldn't believe it. beat a bunch of 15 and 16 year olds. He won a $5 dollar gift card to 7-11. Now he can get that cup of coffee and pack of smokes he's been asking for.

he may want to think about getting a bunch of 5 cent candies (laffy taffy/now and laters) and selling em to sucker-kids for a quarter a piece. or perhaps investing in some toothpicks and cinnamon oil. soakin those bad boys overnight. in my day, the kids went wild for those things. i bet he could fetch a buck a piece these days. you know, if he's gonna be succussful in the fast paced cut throat world of adolescent entrepreneurship, he needs to go ahead and get a leg up. investment, kid. it's the way of the future.... |
