I've been out in the backyard transplanting raspberry bushes and getting sun-drunk (alcohol-drunk, too). I'm a little more tipsy than I intended to be... and now I have a long subway ride out to the 'burbs for a (veg) bbq/"goodbye for now" party for my friend who tours with the Stones...

I guess it's appropriate that I'm a little out of it at this point.

But the trek out there is gonna suck.

Also, it's gonna be all (mostly) lesbos.

Celebrate gay times, come on!

Hi Kims!!!

Saw Mirrormask this weekend.   Purty killer vizzzzuals, but the plot was a lil weak.

I guess it wasn't really made for me.  (being old and male).. but still.

That's what I've heard, Cappy.

I still sort of want to see it though.

Check out Pan's Labyrinth when it comes out (tomorrow?). I think  it'll deliver what you were wanting from Mirrormask. But for god's sake do NOT let your kids watch it. There's some serious killing, gore, violence etc. Shit that made ME wince.

so right now at work they're doing something with the vents...either cleaining them or something...but they're pumping so much air through them it sounds like the top of the some mountain with the wind pounding ye.

Or like if you were on the open seas in the middle of a storm. Like on a great big clipper ship, Going from this land here to that, In a sailor's suit and cap, Away from the big city where a man cannot be free of all the evils of this town and of himself and those around

Oh, and I guess that I just don't know
