I cut myself shaving this morning; real high up on my cheekbone. I don't even have whiskers up that high. I then fainted in the shower at the sight of my own blood; hit the soapdish with my back; shattered 6 ribs AND my nose on the way down. I had to be heli-ported to a hospital in Little Rock where the doctors aren't sure what to do with me.

We went to Borders' Books last night. They have this phoney Starbucks cafe in there called "Seattle's Best Coffee."
I asked the barista about some drink concoction they have called a "Javakula"...I pronounced it sort of like "Dracula" and she got all uppity with me and said "Java KOOLA!" several times...as if we were discussing a REAL word or something.
there is this shop called "central bark bakery" around the corner from the museum. they sell super expensive homemade dog-biscuits, and other designer pet supplies. it is in a fairly high rent location, which has led most people to believe it will be a short-lived business venture for the owners, being that they are offering a product with very little demand. lately, i've been hearing how they've added an espresso bar (for people) to their services. i assume to generate more profit and actually keep their business afloat. this morning, i decided to ch-ch-ch-ch-check it out. lo and behold, it's a "Seattle's Best Coffee." so of course i asked her for a "javakula."(dracula pronunciation) she had no idea what i was talking about. i looked up at the menu and our "SBC" does not serve the javakula. they did have several different flavors of a coffee cooler type frozen drink called "creamice" so i asked her for a white mocha creamice. (i pronounced it like "crim-EE-chay") hoping to push her uppity button. it didn't work. she made my drink without correcting my pronunciation. i was very disappointed. but the drink was yummy. shit is recommended. |
