I'm really just here to register my belated "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwww, omg, the capt's kids are so cute" comment.

And I'm done.

Oh yeah, I didn't get to say anything yesterday, Chaderick, but that declining bee colony story is worrisome to me, too. Not because of a potential lack o' honey, but because honey bees help pollinate something like 30% of the produce in North America. Didn't read this particular article, so the percentage is prolly off, but, still... we're looking at a massive increase in the price of fruit and veg this summer/fall. Shitty for me, since that's practically all I eat.

 Sad

Tripp, I gotta tell ya.  The first 30 minutes of Spider-Man 3 is just the beginning of the lazy storytelling.

They really lost their mojo on this one.  The whole story just feels thrown together.

The movie has its good moments, but it's the worst of the series by far.

Someone emailed me a review similar to that today. Nutshell: No story to speak of.

I think I'll wait to see it on the small screen.

 Roll Eyes

Unfortunately it's the "big screen" stuff that's most worth watching.

If he manages to save the bee colonies, maybe I'll believe (in) him.  Tongue

This just in from Columbia University.

Bees play an integral role in the world food supply, and are essential for the pollination of over 90 fruit and vegetable crops worldwide, with the economic value of these agricultural products placed at more than $14.6 billion in the U.S. In addition to agricultural crops, honey bees also pollinate many native plants within the ecosystem. Recently, the increased deaths in bee colonies due to CCD seriously threaten the ability of the bee industry to meet the pollination needs of fruit and vegetable producers in the U.S.
