Actually, I've loved it for even longer than I've been the Maude. The minute I first saw it (I was maybe 20?) I loved loved loved it. I just changed my myspace page to reflect that. Then again, I am drunk, so....

Hey, Matt, my girlfriend and I watched MST3K last night!

Eegah.

It was okay.

I really love that episode. It took a while, but it really grew on me. The beginning is hilarious.

"Watch out for snakes!" is one of the greatest second thought overdubs in history.

I "left" last night because of a couple of things (depressed, tried to find kurts gahlfriend on PBS, still having difficulty with Crappity loading)...but mostly because I was sleepy because of jamming and...meds.

I still cry every time I watch Harold and Maude and I've seen it countless times. I guess I'm a suck(er for older women/younger men stories)...

Me too! I still remember the first time I rented it in grade 8...it opened an entire new world of film to me.

I had seen it listed in some old movie book as the "first cult film"", and though I have always been skeptical of ordered lists and ranking things, I made sure to get around it some day. When I did was a good day indeed. Still not sure why it would have "cult status", but I do love it. Still have a copy on good old VHS.

I'm sorry, but I can't watch Harrold and Maude because I can't stand that annoying soundtrack. I like a few Cat Stevens' songs, but none from that film.

The biggest drag about living with someone going through a highly productive phase is that the person usually starts thinking you need to be going through the same phase, too.

I think you're at least 35 years from being a Maude. I think you're a Demi right now.

My folks are coming to visit in a couple hours and I'm feeling a tad too hungover to deal. Why did I let my friends force me to drink? Huh?! Huh??!!!

Originally, I read this as "jammies." I was impressed that just wearing pajamas could make you sleepy ("Matt Gosse cures insomnia!").

But then I read it properly.

How's Jer? I think we missed his birthday.

Perhaps sleeping starkers is where I went wrong.

As for Jer...uh, he's fine...his birthday was March 18.

Yeah, I remember being really put off by the soundtrack when I first saw it. Now I half 'accept' it and half try and ignore it.

(not sure if Tripp is finished with the photojournalism)

On the upside: today that asshole S____ should have left Montreal.
