By the way, I am just finishing watching Pom Poko and I wanted to mention that there are no raccoons in it. They are tanuki. @#$%!ing Disney had cock up Japanese mythology surrounding the raccoon dog because..? I mean, it is not like they did it for kids...'cause it ain't like Disney removed their gigantic scrotums which might have puzzled some children. In the end I softened up for the film...Takahata fell more in line with the films of his partner, Miyazaki. |
