I am fucking SICKENED by all the press this ass-fuck is getting with his 'manifesto'. Bodies aren't even buried yet and families have to turn on the tv and see that lowlife's image on all the news channels. The ultimate revenge would've been to take the package from the shooter and toss it in the furnace. BUT NOOOOOOOOOO let's do exactly what he wanted and air his bullshit all over the place.

The day before the tape arrived I said to my dad, "The media is already working on building the next killer/troubled martyr (in their own eyes)" The best part is my favourite though...when the media questions the role of the media in fueling these acts. Each media outlet will have its opportunity to ask this question (without a hint of tragic irony) as if it stands outside of what it refers to as "the media". Of course, this is part of any media outlet's self-perceived image (well, the one they would like you to assume is self-perceived); that their coverage is "measured" and "justified" and "within the bounds of decency or responsibility".
