Hello there - Tripp from the Grifters MySpace page sent me here to ask about the "No Particular Slogan" 2xCD.  I would love to get a copy of that, whether its a CD-R, mp3s, etc.  I own all (I believe) of their singles, and a few comps with tracks.  Which was, I believe, the contents of "No Particular Slogan."  Not trying to steal, just trying to find a way to rock out in my car or on my iPod without throwing my turntable in the trunk.

If anyone can help me out please reply here or email me at panzan at yahoo dot com

THANKS!

28. Coat Of Silence
Red Hot & Bothered Compilation
29. Empty Yard
Last Man Alive 7"
30. Last Man Alive

Slipknot 7"
32. Slip Knot
33. Subterranean Death Ride Blues
Wicked Thing 7"
34. Wicked Thing
35. Organ Grinder
The Doink Years [reissue of Disfigurehead/Kingdom of Jones]
36. Kicking
Live In Montreal, 1998
37. My Apology (live) * this would be the Halifax track mistitled
Wicked Thing Demo
38. Wicked Thing (demo)
The Doink Years
39. Daydream Riot (Long Version)

That's the version I downloaded from Pogo, I assume this is No Particular Slogan (it was under that title)...basically the JFloyd version eliminates the duplicates of 7" versions that ended up on albums and it adds some tracks.

...um...I had next to no contact with Jesse on these boards (I was on a bad place and he only skipped in and out and I was drinking more than writing), but was in quite substantial contact with John and he sent me the first version.

I know for a fact that I do not have the version that Dan has (which has a booklet and cover and all of that).

panzan,

i highly recommend you get one of these....    'swhat i did.   they cost about 150 bucks, and you can get one at Hot Topic of all places...(neither radio shack or best buy carries them)  the included software is a bit confusing at first, but once you figure it out, its pretty simple. a bit time consuming, as you have to let the records play through, but it's a great way to get reacquainted with some old records you haven't listened to in a while.
