In Le Shower I contemplated writing "Suivant/Next" on the ballot.

I'll likely vote Green.

What a waste (?)

I wish I knew as much about local politics as I did U.S. politics.

in 2000, i voted green.  i initially felt guilty cause it was so frickin close,  AND  i live in florida.  but in retrospect,  i voted my conscience, and the election was gonna get stolen anyway.   so i wouldn't consider it a waste.   if every election the greens gain a few votes, eventually no one can ignore them anymore.  and like i said before, i think canada is much closer to being ready for a green government than we  are.

matthew(or anyone else who loves neil young)

while looking for the slsk. folder i downloaded a few years ago, which i thought i screwed up somehow,  but apparantly not, i found a bunch of files i didn't realize i had, including  something called "neil young-archives be damned".   i remember downloading it, but i wasn't able to find it.   which is why i thought my soulseek didn't work.   anyway, its about 100 unreleased neil young songs.   some great, some awful.  a few live gems, and a few early versions of songs, including a mynah birds version of "don't cry no tears" called "i wonder".  let me know if you don't have any of this, and i'll try to email it to you.

I was reading this article yesterday about Canada squaring off against Denmark over some melty Northpole island (Hans?) that's supposedly full of oil.

That was pretty exciting.

indeed.  i don't think i'll vote for a 3rd party again for a while.  unless the first 4 years of a democratic administration is just awful,   or i move to canada.(not likely, although we are talking about ann arbor, which is close)

and equally legendary Ross Johnson who were cracking me up all night.

i was first made aware of ross johnson because of that split 7" he did with scott,(scott does super cool version of 'whole lotta shakin').  have since hunted down a few other things, mostly through shangri-la, and really enjoy it. seems he had(has?) a pretty big impact on the memphis scene in general.  wish i coulda made that show.
