Al Gore...bored me to tears with a near three-hour-long, live rendition of "An Inconvenient Truth" earlier...yesterday now.

Gah!

97% of the information was basic depressing shit about how the global temperature is rising and the water and wind streams are changing and the plant and animal life is dying...etc.

.0003% was related to anthropogenic causes for global climate change

0% of it offered solutions



Complete and utter bullshit. He spent a goodly amount of time bronzing his ego...I mean, A LOT of time...(my 97% is probably way off)...he also kept launching into this loud, quasi-apocalyptic minister voice/tone at the oddest of times... as annoying as those moonbat Lyndon Larouche fanatics were, I half wanted to join in screaming at him by the end.

David Suzuki was interesting but was only alloted 45 minutes.

Gore was only scheduled for 1hr 15 mins but droned on for close to three. When he finally shut up I had to leave. There was still about two hours of stuff scheduled that was to take place...yet I left when the conference was supposed to end.

Got to see Sam Roberts play with Sarah Harmer!

Wow, Sam Roberts is:

a) quite untalented. both singing and playing guitar

b) lame (cracked pitiful jokes) and without any charisma or stage presence

c) dumb as a bag of rocks
