"everyday, once a day, give yourself a present..."
Agent Cooper

Tripp -- if i don't see season 2 of twin peaks how will i ever find out who killed laura palmer?

Dan--  with all those pedals do actually get to play the guitar at all?

Matt-- What do English Majors do? Anything they want...actually i was an english major...it was perfect if you like to read and write...i had no clue what i wanted to do, but i liked to read and you will read lots and lots.

It just got real cold up in NJ...yeah yeah i'm sure you cannuks have been sub zero for the last 3 months...but we've had unusually warm temps for the winter so far...granted we did have a blizzard before winter even started.

BF, I get to play the guitar 'cause I only usually only have one or two pedals on at the same time: each pedal does something different.  For instance: the Vox valvetone is for a little bit of distortion, the rat is for a whole lot of distortion and so on...

Your son is a future punk rocker!

If I play them all at the same time, I get this ungodly feedback.  Cool uh?  So yeah, I do that pretty often!

It shouldn't happen to a vet

When does season one of Twin Peaks end? I thought it ended with the resolution of Laura's murder.
Well, yes, you should definitely watch the rest. But after all that mess is wrapped up it turns into a straight-up soap opera.

On the DVD collection, it ends with the shooting of agent Cooper, which makes sense, seasons have to end with something dramatic...

well i went ahead and read the episode guides on http://www.twinpeaksgazette.com, so i've learned, or at least i think i know what happened...you never know there might be an episode where they pull onto mullholland drive and meet a strange cowboy and the whole world turns upside down.

man i'm simply amazed by that mars stuff. it even had me watching a bit of contact last night...the part when they first hear the sound.

it was funny it was on tnt on "movies guys like" ...what makes that a movie a guy would like anymore than some other movie?

oh yeah, didn't Twin Peaks debut in mid-season? That's why it had a shorter than usual first season??

I'd say there are definitely some Mulholland Drive moments and even if you know who killed Laura, the way it slowly dawns on you won't be diminished and then you still have those three incredible episodes after the big reveal (that lead up to the climax).

And is that Josie cute or what?

oh yeah, you might say that I'm obsessed with Jodie, sometimes I worry about what kinds of things I'd be willing to do to get her attention.

ahhhh yeah! Baby Galileo!  The Return of the King of the Baby Einstein series.

Has anyone ever seen/read/heard the "Murmurs of Earth".  Its Carl Sagan's story of putting together that gold album that was attached to the Voyager probes.  I'm about 1/3 into it, and its such a great story.  He teams up with Alan Lomax to help with the music selection and Alan takes him to fucking world music school.  Then Tip O'Neil nearly scraps the entire project, demanding that Irish music be represented on the record.

good stuff.
