we didn't get any fuckin snow! well a teence weence bit.
But you know how it is.. me and S____ are sitting around the fireplace getting drunk. the weather channel is reporting 'HEAVY SNOW' all night long. So you get that cozy feeling like you're gonn abe able to blow off work.
I get up this morning...? NUTHIN'!

that sucks. we used to get excited about hurricanes like that. then they would arrive and be wimpy little storms that knock the power out for a couple hours. you get all wasted thinking no work the next day, but no. you just go to work half drunk. that was before Ivan, Dennis, and Katrina. i don't want to see another hurricane again. especially now that i own a home. god, they used to be so much fun, though.

I grew up in southern Ohio and we would get like 2 or 3 snows a year.
If it snowed, school was pretty much automatically cancelled.
Now that I live in northeast Ohio, up by Lake Erie...it snows practically every day in January and February...and a lot of March too...then there's always about one more snow storm in April as well.
So we pretty much have to keep going no matter how bad it gets.
